Good Friday

God became flesh and dwelt among us, we beheld His glory as the Only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. For this purpose He came, to give His life as a ransom for many. He is our Kinsmen Redeemer. He is the Spotless Lamb of God, given for us. He who knew no sin, became sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. The just for the unjust, dying for the ungodly.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His One and only Son, that whosoever believes in (trusts in) Him, will not perish, but have eternal life. All who call upon the name of the Lord, will be saved.

Jesus said, “I Am the Way and the Truth and the Life, not man comes to the Father except through Me.”

Lord Jesus, thank You for dying to pay my sin debt. I bow in face-to-the-floor awe of Who You are and what You have accomplished for me, for us. Simply astounding. I confess and believe that You suffered and died, were buried and rose again on the third day, never to die again. You did all this for one such as I. A wretch among wretches. Thank You. Oh, my Lord Jesus, thank You.
